About Dressed Up Hippy
Sunshine Style for Barefoot Souls
Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Misti—the artist, maker, and dreamer behind Dressed Up Hippy Store. What started as a love for whimsical jewelry and handmade accessories has grown into a full expression of wearable art, where fashion, creativity, and intention meet. My journey is grounded in a desire to create pieces that reflect beauty, soul, and sustainability. I believe style should feel like freedom, and art should be something you can live in.
What We Believe
At Dressed Up Hippy, we believe in slow fashion, meaningful creation, and the power of handmade design. Everything you find here is created with love and care—from eco-conscious loungewear printed with original art to handcrafted copper jewelry and thoughtfully sewn accessories.
We design with intention:
- 🌿 Water-based inks on all fabric prints
- ✋ Handmade and small-batch production only
- 🌀 Fashion that’s both expressive and responsible
Our pieces are made to last, to tell a story, and to be part of your journey—wherever your barefoot soul may wander.
Why Artisanship Matters
In a world of fast fashion, we’re going the other way. Artisanship to us means:
- Every item begins as an original design—never stock, never ordinary
- We partner only with small-batch printers and ethical makers
- Materials are chosen with care for both comfort and environmental impact
- Each piece carries the unmistakable touch of soulful, handmade creativity
We make pieces that look good and do good—for people and the planet.
“To wear something handmade is to carry a story on your skin.”

Are your products really handmade?
Yes! Everything in the shop is either handmade by me or produced in small batches through trusted artisan partners. From hand-flamed copper jewelry to original textile art, every item must reflect true artisanship and soul.
What makes your clothing eco-conscious?
Our apparel is printed with non-toxic, water-based inks that are safer for the planet and your skin. We also use printing partners that focus on ethical, low-waste production and energy efficiency.
How do I care for my Dressed Up Hippy clothing?
- Wash cold, gentle cycle
- Turn garments inside out
- Air dry or tumble low
This helps preserve the colors, prints, and fabric for years to come.

Why do you use sublimation printing instead of traditional tie-dye?
At Dressed Up Hippy, we love the look of traditional tie-dye — but we’re all about longevity, vibrancy, and sustainability. That’s why our Sunflower Soul Designs uses sublimation printing which lets us infuse bold, artistic designs directly into the fabric using eco-friendly, water-based inks. Unlike traditional dyes, sublimation never fades, cracks, or peels — the color becomes part of the garment itself.
This method also produces far less waste, uses no harsh chemicals, and results in cleaner, more consistent designs across every piece. You still get that free-spirited, tie-dye energy — but with way more staying power and way less environmental impact. 🌿
